The Art Club Student Conduct Code

At The Art Club, we believe the best learning happens in a community built on respect, creativity, and collaboration. This Conduct Code ensures that everyone participating in our workshops, lectures, and competitions feels safe, supported, and able to focus on artistic growth. By enrolling, you agree to uphold the following standards of conduct.

Our Community Values

  • Respect: Treat instructors, staff, and peers with courtesy in all interactions.

  • Inclusion: Welcome artists of all backgrounds, skill levels, and perspectives.

  • Integrity: Share only your own work and give proper credit when referencing others.

  • Growth: Offer feedback that is constructive, thoughtful, and professional.

What’s Not Allowed

The following behaviors are prohibited and may result in removal from courses without refund:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind.

  • Plagiarism, misrepresentation, or presenting someone else’s work as your own.

  • Misrepresentation of one’s work or use of generative AI without disclosure is not permitted.

  • Disruptive conduct that prevents others from learning.

  • Recording, screenshotting, or distributing course content without written permission.

  • Sharing personal or private information without consent.

Online Etiquette

  • Use your real name in classes and discussions.

  • Keep microphones muted when not speaking to minimize background noise.

  • Participate respectfully in critiques and discussions.

  • Use chat responsibly, stay on topic, and avoid spam or excessive self-promotion.

If Issues Arise

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this code, contact The Art Club staff at contact@the-art-club.com. All concerns will be taken seriously and addressed fairly.

Consequences

Depending on the severity of the violation, possible actions include:

  • A verbal or written warning.

  • Temporary suspension from live sessions or platforms.

  • Removal from a course without refund.

  • Permanent exclusion from future Art Club programs.
