The Art Club, LLC – Privacy Policy

Effective Date: Oct 9, 2025

At The Art Club, LLC (“The Art Club,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we are committed to protecting the privacy of our community. We comply fully with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), and we do not share or disclose personal information to outside parties without your consent. Your trust is central to our mission, and we take precautions to safeguard the information you provide.

In alignment with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Our programs, services, and online platforms are intended for individuals who are 16 years of age or older. Students under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s consent to participate in our programs.

We also affirm that your personal information will never be sold, traded, or transferred to unrelated third parties. The only exceptions are trusted service providers who help us operate our website, manage course delivery, or process payments, and these providers are required to keep your information confidential. Information may also be disclosed when legally necessary, to enforce our policies, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our community.

The Art Club respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of our students, faculty, and community members. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you participate in our workshops, lectures, competitions, and online platforms.

We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, payment details, Discord username, and parent or guardian information (if under 18). Additional information may include course registrations, submitted assignments or artwork, technical details such as IP address and browser type, as well as communications including emails, chat messages, or feedback you provide. This information is used to provide and manage our services, process payments, communicate updates, and maintain a safe and supportive community. The Art Club may also use student work for educational or promotional purposes, always giving proper credit.

We do not sell your personal information. Information may only be shared with trusted service providers who assist in payment processing, hosting, or course delivery; in cases where disclosure is legally required; or when you give us explicit permission. Students under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to enroll in our programs, and parents or guardians are required to review this Privacy Policy, along with our Terms of Service and Student Conduct Code, with their student before participation. Student artwork may be shared publicly for educational or promotional purposes only with proper attribution and parent or guardian approval.

The Art Club uses reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect personal information, but no system can guarantee complete security. Under California law (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, as well as the right to request information about how your data is used. While The Art Club does not sell personal information, you also retain the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of data. Data will only be retained as long as necessary to provide services, fulfill legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Please note that some of our courses use third-party platforms such as Discord, Google Meets, or Google Drive, and your use of those platforms is also subject to their own privacy policies. This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically, and any revisions will be posted on our website with a new effective date.

If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding your personal data or this Privacy Policy, you may contact us at contact@the-art-club.com or visit our website at www.the-art-club.com.
