Story Driven Character Design

Story Driven Character Design at The Art Club is open to all Intermediate to Advanced level students and focuses on the importance of story as it pertains to Character Design. students will develop character explorations, create a character lineup, build pose and expression sheets, and produce a story-beat drawing based on a story. Throughout the course, the focus will be on using story as the foundation for all design and acting decisions.  

The Story Driven Character Design workshop at The Art Club teaches artists how to create characters that are not only visually appealing but also tell compelling stories.

Participants may join as Active students, receiving drawovers and feedback, or as Viewers, with access to the live sessions and text chat interaction with other viewers.

Refund Policy
All tuition and fees are non-refundable. The only exception is if The Art Club cancels a course, in which case students will receive a full refund. By enrolling, students acknowledge and accept this policy.

Use of Student Work
By enrolling in any course at The Art Club, students grant The Art Club permission to use work created during the course for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes. Proper credit will always be given to the student. By participating, students agree that their work may be showcased in print, online, and on social media platforms.

Age Requirement
Students must be 18 years of age or older to enroll.

By enrolling in workshops, lectures, and other educational programs offered by The Art Club, you agree to the following:

  1. No Recording: Students are strictly prohibited from recording, reproducing, photographing, screen-capturing, or otherwise duplicating any portion of The Art Club’s workshops, lectures, or related instructional content, whether in whole or in part, without prior written permission from The Art Club.

  2. No Distribution: Students are prohibited from distributing, sharing, publishing, selling, or making available any recordings, images, or reproductions of The Art Club’s workshops, lectures, or instructional content to any third party, in any format, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

  3. Intellectual Property: All workshops, lectures, course materials, and related content are the exclusive intellectual property of The Art Club and/or its instructors and are protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

  4. Consequences of Violation: Any violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from current and future programs, forfeiture of fees paid, and potential legal action.

By registering for and attending The Art Club’s programs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by this policy.
